Dua Lipa fans have defended the singer against accusations of ‘miming’ following her performance at Glastonbury Festival.

The 28-year-old singer dominated the Glastonbury Festival with her stunning performance. But due to sound issues, audience members accused her of “miming” and lip-syncing throughout her set.

At the time, people noticed that her voice didn’t match her movements, leading to speculation that she wasn’t singing live.

Lipa, on the other hand, dismissed these allegations in her interview with the Daily Mail, stating: “I don’t mime.”

A Reddit thread also received comments from fans of the “Levitating” singer who defended her against the allegations.

Someone wrote: “Acoustic Genesis on his YT. Sounds exactly like his polished recorded songs.”

“She has an incredible voice for live performance. I was very surprised,” wrote a second, while a third said, “I had the pleasure of seeing her live in Vegas once COVID started to ease. She is a fantastic live performer.”

Another shared: “Dua Lipa’s live performances are amazing, and the reviews are unfair!”

Amidst the doubts, Lipa had previously revealed how she manages to pull off her performances despite the heavy choreography.

“I haven’t toured for a year, so I need to get my stamina back before I go to festivals,” she told the Dish From Waitrose podcast. “That involves running, dancing, singing, all at the same time, to make sure I can do it once the adrenaline kicks in. It’s like rehearsals, no alcohol, exercise, just back-to-back preparation for all the shows coming up.”

Lipa also made headlines for her reaction to a Glastonbury Festival attendee who began strumming a ukulele and singing in front of the singer.

The “Dance The Night” singer was seen offering a cute response, nodding her head while smiling.

“I love this mate, this is so good,” she told the fan, identified as Liam C.

Lipa also made headlines after she revealed her relationship with Callum Turner on Instagram. She confirmed their relationship by posting a photo of herself with the British actor on Tuesday, July 2.

“Dancing until sunrise at the stone circle is the glasto ritual,” she captioned the post.

The couple were first linked to the The Masters of the Air premiere in London on January 11. They were seen cuddling up to each other at the party following the event.
