Alex Simmons Announces Back-to-Back Games Against Tennessee, Louisville

MEMPHIS – Alex Simmons is entering her second season in Memphis and she appears to be perfectly comfortable facing any opponent.

Simmons is putting together a schedule that will certainly test his Tigers, including two games in a four-day span against two of the best teams in the country.

Tennessee and Louisville.

December 18 and 21.

Both games will be played at FedExForum. This will be the Memphis women’s team’s first regular-season game at the Forum since 2015.

Simmons won two national titles with the Lady Vols under legendary coach Pat Summitt.

This game against Louisville is part of a huge double-header day of hoops as Penny Hardaway and the men also play that day, hosting Mississippi State.
