Cookie Inspired Vanilla Cream Tubes: Broken Cookies

Oreo is shining a light on broken cookies with its latest product: limited-edition vanilla cream tubes. The idea is inspired by the philosophy of kintsugi, which comes from Japanese culture. It means “golden carpentry,” which is the work of repairing broken pottery using lacquer sprinkled with or mixed with precious metals.

This gives the cracks caused by the damage a unique filled line. Oreo is transforming this idea into its cookies, as the squeeze tubes are filled with the classic vanilla cream and are available for a short time in Mexico. Fans can repair their broken Oreo cookies and create a beautifully imperfect cookie. This initiative is developed by the Leo Burnett Brazil and Mexico team.
