A Mayo community has paid tribute to a mother and daughter who lost their lives in a crash, saying: “A cloud has fallen over the town again.”

The mother and eight-year-old girl died after their car collided with a lorry on the N26 in County Mayo at 5.45pm on Tuesday, at Callow between Foxford and Swinford.
