Three men have been charged for their alleged roles in a road rage incident in Brampton caught on camera, while a fourth man remains outstanding, Peel police say.

A 28-year-old Caledon man has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, mischief over $5,000 and uttering threats, Peel police said in a news release Monday.

The other two men, a 23-year-old from Caledon and a 28-year-old from Brampton, have both been charged with mischief over $5,000, police said.

The incident happened on the evening of March 27. Police said a victim was driving on Torbram Road, near Eagleridge Drive, when there was an “interaction” with the occupants of a gold Hyundai Sonata with registration number CXHK981.

Four men confronted and threatened the victim while damaging his vehicle, police said.

Video of the violent interaction sparked outrage online and was condemned by local politicians and community leaders.

Investigators are searching for a fourth suspect who is believed to be fleeing police. He is described as being of South Asian descent and 6 feet 1 inch tall. He was last seen wearing a gray baseball cap, a black hoodie with “Jordan 33” graffiti written on it in red, dark pants and red and white low-top Jordan sneakers.

In the press release, police encourage the man to contact a lawyer and turn himself in.
