Connectivity disrupted: Flights cancelled in Jamaica and St. Vincent due to Hurricane Beryl

Hurricane Beryl, after causing immense damage to several Caribbean islands, is now heading towards Jamaica. Following this update, Caribbean Airlines has issued an advisory regarding the cancellation of some flights for Wednesday, July 3.

Although the monstrous storm has weakened from Category 5 to Category 4, it still has the characteristics of high-impact devastation. The hurricane continues to hurtle at speeds of 150 mph and is likely to hit southern areas of Jamaica.

Due to the disruptions and destruction caused by Beryl, Caribbean Airlines has cancelled some flights to/from Kingston that were scheduled to transit the impact region for Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

Routing– TRINIDAD – KINGSTON – NASSAU – KINGSTON – TRINIDAD

Further to the flight cancellation notice for the Jamaica region, Caribbean Airlines has also issued a second notice regarding the cancellation of the flight to/from St. Vincent for Wednesday, July 3, 2024, as Argyle International Airport remains closed in response to Hurricane Beryl.

Passengers whose plans have been affected by the flight disruptions can rebook accordingly at no extra cost, subject to the conditions stated.

  1. Waiver of all fees for changing the reservation of tickets in the same cabin.
  2. Passengers can rebook any service until July 28, 2024, without penalty.
  3. ALL required changes MUST be made at a Caribbean Airlines ticket sales office or through the Caribbean Airlines Call Center.
  4. Caribbean Airlines WILL NOT be responsible for any expenses incurred by affected passengers for transportation to/from another airport or for overnight stays/hotels.
