Travis Kelce Breaks Silence on His London Debut on Eras Tour: “Don’t Let It Go…”

Travis Kelce has finally opened up about his surprise appearance at The Eras Tour concert in London. On Wednesday’s episode of his podcast, New Heights, the Chiefs tight end said it was “not like me at all” to be “a ham.” The 34-year-old made his first-ever appearance on Taylor Swift’s record-breaking world tour on Sunday, June 23.

Travis’ brother and co-host Jason Kelce praised his appearance, saying, “You killed it.” “Are you kidding me?” Travis said. “I was up there with three professionals. You can’t do anything wrong with Taylor on stage. (I kept telling myself), ‘Don’t drop the baby. Hold on to the baby,'” the Kansas City Chiefs star said.

He later revealed that the cameo was actually his idea. “I was like, ‘Wouldn’t it be fun if I rode one of those ‘1989’-era bikes?’” Travis recalled. “She started laughing and was like, ‘Would you really be up for doing something like that?’”

The NFL star continued: “I was like, ‘What? I would love to do that. Are you kidding me? I’ve seen enough of the show. I might as well get to work here,'” adding: “She found the perfect moment in the show to bring me on. It was kind of the safest option.”

At the London concert, Travis took the stage during The Tortured Poets Department. Dressed in a tuxedo and top hat, he carried Swift on stage as part of the outfit change skit I Can Do It With A Broken Heart. Holding his girlfriend in his arms in front of thousands of people left Travis with a smile from ear to ear.
