Anthony Ponder and Ministry’s Desire release new single “IT’S IN THE ROOM”

Jersey City, NJ — Take a group of seasoned singers with impeccable harmonies backed by superlative tones and you’ll experience the sound and brilliance of Anthony Ponder and the Desire for Ministry (APMD). Anthony Ponder and his collective of singers have developed a prolific art and are building an exemplary musical catalog. They have delivered another powerful ballad of praise, “It’s in the room” a song of confirmation of the omnipotent presence of God.

“The song’s simple yet powerful chorus is to remind you that God is with you,” Anthony explains. “His abilities are not limited by our circumstances. This song will inspire peace in you, no matter what challenges you face, and He will be right there with you, in the room.”

Written by Ponder and Thomas Warren, “It’s in the room” is available now to download and stream on all digital music stores. Anthony invited Marcia Sapp, Anthony McGahee and Praise Motivated to collaborate with APMD, further capturing the heart of the song and creating a pure, authentic sound and moment that listeners can experience again and again.

Anthony also welcomes music ministers, choir directors and worship leaders to teach, sing and share this with their worship team, choir and congregation. “It’s in the room” is a moving song that will create a pure and responsive atmosphere of worship and praise.

Anthony founded APMD in 2007 and released his debut album HEAR THE SOUND in 2012. APMD has toured and performed with award-winning artists such as Jazmine Sullivan, Chrisette Michele, VaShawn Mitchell, Mali Music, Ricky Dillard, Mos Def (on The Conan O’Brien Show), Bishop Hezekiah Walker & Love Fellowship, Donald Lawrence and Karen Clark-Sheard. APMD also contributed his incredible vocals to Nickelodeon’s Broadway musical “Super Sea Star Savior,” a song written and performed by Yolanda Adams. Anthony recently completed a year-long residency as host of Soul Therapy Sundays at Sounds of Brazil, aka SOB’s, the legendary music venue in Lower Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood.
