Bergen County Zoo Announces Extended Summer Hours, Ticket Prices for 2024

Late summer hours at the Bergen County Zoo, with the Paramus Zoo open every Wednesday for those who want to avoid the heat and visit later in the day.

Throughout July and August, the Van Saun County Park site will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with last entry at 6:30 p.m. The train and carousel will also be open for extended hours, with last rides at 6:45 p.m.

The zoo kicked off its summer program this week with an event celebrating National Bison Month. Visitors could purchase T-shirts to support bison conservation and participate in a bison-themed amphitheater show and scavenger hunt.

Zoo hours for the rest of the week are 10am to 4:30pm, with last entry at 4pm.

For Bergen County residents, tickets are $4 for adults ages 15-61, $2 for children ages 3-14, and $1 for seniors and people with disabilities. Admission is free for children under 3 and U.S. military personnel.

For out-of-county residents, admission is $8 for adults, $5 for children and $2 for seniors and disabled persons. Admission is always free for young children and military personnel.
