Amount of methamphetamine found during traffic stop in Iuka

On Sunday, June 30, a Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped a vehicle with Kenneth Ray Lowrance Jr., 51, of Iuka, behind the wheel.

The traffic stop took place on Eastport Street in Iuka.

During the stop, the officer found a criminal quantity of methamphetamine.

Lowrance was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Tishomingo County Court Judge Jeff Sparks set him on $10,000 bail.
