Mercer Mill Brown Marsh Path –

The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) announced that Mercer Mill Brown Marsh Road (SR 1700) will be closed for multiple cross-line replacements. The closure will occur 0.33 miles east of Dewitt Gooden Road (SR 1705) and is scheduled to begin Monday, July 8 at 8:00 a.m.

The road is scheduled to reopen at 8am on Friday 19th July. Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and seek alternative routes during this time.

NCDOT appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during this essential maintenance work.
