Police arrest woman caught on camera stealing storage units in North Miami Beach

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Florida – Police have arrested the woman seen on surveillance video who they suspect stole from storage units inside condominiums in North Miami Beach.

North Miami Beach police said Toccora Monique James, 41, is the woman caught on camera and accused of numerous high-rise robberies.

Local TV station 10 News first aired the video Tuesday, which shows James dialing random numbers in a phone booth in an apartment building until someone calls him.

She immediately heads to the storage room and, even though she enters empty-handed, she leaves with several bags full of items. This has happened several times.

Police said she was not acting alone, claiming she was working with a male accomplice.

But wait, there’s more: According to police, a few days after the robberies, James used the same bag she stole from the storage units to steal again, this time from a Bath and Body Works store at 14811 Biscayne Blvd.

James now faces multiple charges related to his crimes.
