Lehigh Valley fireworks set to go off for July 4 | Lehigh Valley Regional News

What would the 4th of July be without fireworks? Several shows are planned in the Lehigh Valley.

It’s all hands on deck as Ohio-based Rozzi Fireworks puts the finishing touches on this year’s Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom fireworks display.

“A lot of blood, sweat and tears have gone into this project,” said Ryan Eldredge, Dorney Park’s director of public relations and communications.

Dorney Park prepares for 3 nights of fireworks

The company has been working on the show for a few days. This year, it’s a little different. Instead of just hosting fireworks on the Fourth of July, Dorney Park is hosting three nights of Star-Spangled Nights celebrations.

Every evening, promising a grandiose spectacle.

Eldredge said: “They’re 20 minutes long with patriotic tunes, we have about 1,000 takes per show.”

The fireworks are scheduled to start around 9:30pm each evening and are part of the admission price.

Independence Day Celebrations in Your City

At Coca-Cola Park, they will be hosting their Great American Blast. Tickets are $8, doors open at 6 p.m. There will be music, games, and food to enjoy before the fireworks at 9:15 p.m.

Allentown and Bethlehem both have free events.

J. Birney Crum Stadium once again hosts the Allentown festivities, which begin at 5 p.m. and end at 10 p.m.

In Bethlehem you have not one, but two places to choose from.

A free concert by the Bethlehem Municipal Band will take place at 7:30 p.m. at City Center Plaza, followed by fireworks.

At SteelStacks, you can enjoy the festivities starting at 3:30pm for a full afternoon of music and food. It’s also a great vantage point to watch the fireworks that the city of Bethlehem will be shooting.
