Pearson advances share buyback with share cancellation

Pearson (EN:PSON) released an update.

Pearson PLC has announced the purchase of 171,514 of its own ordinary shares at prices ranging from 977.80 pence to 987.00 pence per share, representing an average price of 983.53 pence. The shares, acquired through Citigroup Global Markets Limited on the London Stock Exchange, will be cancelled under an ongoing buyback programme launched by the company in early March 2024.
