Hungarian Porn Pope Kovi Ready To Come Back And Make New XXX Movies

István Kovács, aka Kovi, is the most famous Hungarian XXX film director. He made Hungary a porn superpower in the 1990s and 2000s. His slogan, “A Hungarian film with Hungarian stars,” became a hit. In 2013-2014, he resigned, but now he has decided to come back to make new films and discover new talents.

Photographer Makes Hungary a Porn Industry Superpower

TV2 Tenyek made A video report with the late “pope” of the adult film industry in which “Kovi” speaks frankly about his life and career. In the 1980s, he worked as a photojournalist, but a knee operation went wrong. The meniscus in his knee died, so he could no longer stretch his right leg. Porn Pope Kovi Is Happily Married

Interestingly, he has lived a happy married life throughout his long career. His wife, Magdika, told TV2 Tények that she was worried about her husband’s new job. So she attended a few filmings where she discovered that her husband and the crew are professionals who consider filmmaking as a profession.

Kovi won 27 awards, but he resigned in 2013-2014. He told TV2 that he did not want to make films to meet the new requirements.

The depression returned. He tried to relieve it by eating uncontrollably. He ended up weighing 207 kilos and was able to lose only 73 with the help of Norbert Schobert, a Hungarian professional trainer.

A few years ago, due to a family problem, the stress returned and he had a hard time overcoming it. Today, at 67, he decides to return to adult cinema. “The camera takes me back,” he says. “You should never say never,” he adds.

In March, he said he felt ready to make new quality films and added that he had assembled a new team. “I believe that the most beautiful women in the world are in Hungary,” he said at the time.
