Princess Sophie leaves fans in shock as Edward celebrates milestone

Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, left royal fans in awe on her husband Prince Edward’s wedding day.

The Duchess donned £24,000 earrings in tribute to her husband who reached a milestone on Wednesday.

Queen Camilla, 76, and Prince Edward, 60, have been made members of the Order of the Thistle at a ceremony celebrating Scotland’s highest order of chivalry.

Lady Louise Windsor’s mother looked stunning as she arrived at Edinburgh’s St Giles Cathedral in a car alongside her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, to support him on his special day. The 59-year-old wore a £2,390 pink Suzannah London dress for the occasion.

She paired the outfit with a floral wide-brimmed hat by Jane Taylor, a favorite among royal fans. Sophie also wore a pair of nude Prada heels for the special ceremony.

To accessorise, the Duchess wore £24,500 earrings from G. Collins and Sons, which were a silver wedding anniversary gift from Prince Edward, leaving fans in shock with her expensive piece of jewellery.

Reacting to Sophie’s stunning appearance, one royal fan commented on social media: “Pretty in pink! So sweet, so pretty.”
