BBC accidentally shows player undressing live on TV in embarrassing blunder during Euro 2024 coverage

The BBC was given access to the Netherlands dressing room ahead of their clash with Romania and viewers got more than they bargained for.

The BBC gave viewers more than they bargained for on Tuesday night ahead of the Netherlands’ 3-0 win over Romania.

Ronald Koeman’s side qualified for the quarter-finals against Turkey thanks to a routine victory at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Cody Gakpo opened the scoring in the first half before Donyell Malen came off the bench to score a late brace.

The Netherlands will now face Turkey on Saturday after beating Austria 2-1 later in the evening.

But before the clash, the BBC took a tour of the Dutch dressing room and accidentally showed a Dutch player’s behind.

Most of the players were walking around in their tracksuits, but one was changing when the behind-the-scenes video took place.

And for a few brief seconds, one star’s bare behind was completely exposed as they pulled down their underwear.

The camera cut away but of course, in this day and age, many viewers have seen this X-rated scene.

One wrote: “I think the BBC will think twice before installing a live camera in team dressing rooms in the future.”

Another said: “I’m not sure the BBC should be filming in the Dutch dressing room area – unless they specifically want Dutch bums in the background?”

Another joked: “The license fee alone is worth it, to be honest!”

A fourth commented: “Could you see their Netherlands?”

The identity of the player in question has not been revealed, but he hopes to have a little more privacy next time.

The Netherlands will face Turkey at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Saturday, with the winner going on to face either England or Switzerland in the semi-finals.

The last time the Netherlands won the Euro was in 1988 in West Germany, where Ruud Gullit and Marco van Basten scored in a 2-0 win over the Soviet Union in the final.
