Kate continued: “I’m making good progress, but as anyone who has had chemotherapy knows, there are good days and bad days. On the bad days, you feel weak, tired and need to let your body rest. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of that feeling of wellbeing.”

She then noted that it was “a joy” to engage in regular activities on days when she felt “well enough.”

Kate said: “My treatment is ongoing and will last for a few more months. On the days when I feel well enough, it’s a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as start doing some work at home.”

According to royal commentator Katie Nicholl, Kate’s brave appearance at the Trooping the Colour ceremony has affected her health.

“The princess has this sort of swan quality to her – she sort of glides on the surface – but underwater I think she’s often paddling quite frantically,” Nicholl shared with Entertainment tonight. “I can only imagine that a huge amount of preparation, time, effort and energy will have gone into Saturday’s performance.”

The royal expert continued: “She stood for a long time. There was a point where she was watching the parade… and she was offered a seat, which she gratefully accepted.”

“It’s just kind of a recognition that she’s not as strong or as fit as she was before she had this treatment,” Nicholl added.
