Nevada Announces Signing of David Morken

RENO, Nevada – The Nevada Ski Team has announced the signing of Truckee native David Morken for the 2024-25 season.

Morken is a member of Team Palisades and has competed internationally in North America and Europe. Most recently, he competed at the Palisades from April 15-18, finishing sixth in the giant slalom and 10th in the slalom.

In February, Morken took third place in the giant slalom at a FIS event in Bormio, Italy.


Morken’s signing is the second addition to the men’s team, following the signing of transfer Isaac Mozen in late May. They will join the seniors Young Half-jorhus And Iver Walday Naessand back for their second season, Ryan HerhuskyEngrebret Halbjorhus, and Jules Baurbringing the men’s team to seven members.
