Freedom, Democracy and Equal Opportunity: A Message from IAM International President Brian Bryant

Dear IAM Family,

Today, along with all of America, our union celebrates and honors our nation’s independence. Earlier this week, on June 1, we joined our members north of the border to celebrate Canada Day.

On July 4, citizens and patriots across our great country dutifully honor the founding values ​​our union shares, including liberty, democracy, and equality of opportunity. Now more than ever, it is crucial that we protect and defend these values, defend the freedoms of all, and ensure that democracy thrives in all institutions.

Celebrating the birth of our nation unites us all around these timeless and enduring principles that represent the United States and its people. Today, we are all grateful for the privilege of living as citizens of a nation founded on freedom and opportunity. Let us never cease to honor these guiding values.
