Moondance Jam Offers Refunds After Dropping Domestic Artists

Refunds are now being offered for this year’s Moondance Jam in Walker after organizers announced Monday they had pulled all national acts from the lineup.

In a letter, Moondance Jam owner Kathy Bieloh explained that the festival was unable to “raise the financial funds necessary to produce a festival” with the bands that had originally been announced. These bands included Creed, Foghat, Kansas and Blue Öyster Cult.

Bieloh added that it was “not easy” to have to disappoint campers and concert-goers and that, legally, he had been advised not to respond publicly until they had more information about what they could share.

For ticket holders who choose not to attend, Moondance Jam is offering a full refund for this year’s event. But Bieloh also says they will host Camp Moondance on the same dates, July 18-20, with regional talent, plenty of vendors, wine and beer tastings, and more.

Those wishing to obtain a refund are asked to call Renee at (218) 836-1055 to share their contact information and begin the full refund process.
