Jelly Roll and Bunny XO Announce They’re Ready to Have Kids Via Surrogate

Country music star Jelly Roll and his wife Bunny XO are ready to expand their family. On the July 2 episode of her podcast Dumb Blonde, she clarified that while they began seeing a fertility specialist in 2019, it wasn’t until this year that they felt mentally and financially ready.

The couple who exchanged vows in 2016 opted for IVF with a surrogate. This would be her first child with Jelly Roll, 39, who has two children, Bailee Ann, 16, and Noah Buddy, 7. According to Bunny XO, Roll is very excited and enthusiastic about having a child with her

“I said… I would love to have a baby with you.” And that wasn’t the answer I thought he would give me,” she said. “I was just like, ‘Wow, really? Have you always felt that way?’ He was like, ‘Yeah, I’ll always have a baby with you. If you want to have a baby, that’s cool. If you don’t, that’s cool. Do whatever you want.’ So now he’s really excited about it,” she added.

So far, the two men have not yet made their plans concrete. They think they want to have twins. They are not sure; they could have one, they could have two. They do not plan to implant until February 2025.

Before Grammy-nominated Jelly Roll revealed on the June 4 episode of the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast that he and Bunnie were undergoing IVF, the two had planned to keep their fertility journey private, but because they’ve always been very open, they’ve already struggled with it, and they’re just getting started. They’ve met with IVF doctors and explored every possible option to expand their family.

Bunny XO explained why the couple opted for surrogacy

Bunny XO explained why the couple chose to use a surrogate. She explained that she had struggled to carry a baby and had suffered multiple miscarriages.

While being as transparent as possible, Bunny XO said she would like to keep the rest of their IVF journey private as they have already faced several instances of bullying as a family.

Meanwhile, Jelly Roll, who has lost more than 60 pounds, is now eating healthy, running two to three miles a day, four to six days a week, taking cold baths and taking her health seriously for her family.
