Fans of the 22-year-old ‘Ocean Eyes’ singer have since been left in complete shock after discovering she has a famous mother who once appeared on a huge ’90s show.

Billie’s mother, Maggie Baird, starred in what is perhaps the most beloved sitcom of all time in 1999.

The episode of Friendstitled “The One Where Joey Loses His Audience,” sees Maggie play Casting Director 2, while Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) auditions in front of her.

The scene shows Joey losing a role he needed to pay for his medical care due to a painful hernia.

The pain prevents him from lifting the product, so he suggests, “Or could I just point to it? Blah, blah, blah Purina One. Point to a bag today.”

The clip has since resurfaced on social media, with many fans of the TV show and the singer in complete disbelief at the unexpected crossover.

Many have since rushed to Instagram to share their reactions, with one writing: “HOW DID I NEVER NOTICE THIS?”

“HOW DID I NOT NOTICE THIS,” echoed a second while a third revealed: “I literally just watched this episode and now I’m annoyed I didn’t notice.”

“I didn’t know that! That’s funny!!!,” joked a fourth.

Billie recently shared with her fans a rare revelation with her ex-boyfriend Jesse Rutherford, 33, amid cheating allegations.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, the “Lunch” singer confirmed that she and The Neighbourhood frontman remain on good terms.

“He’s my guy, truly one of my favorite people in the world,” she said.

As for her current dating status, Billie added, “I don’t plan on ever dating again. That’s obviously not true.

“But no, I don’t see myself being serious with someone until I find someone who’s really right for me, and I’m not interested in that right now.”
