New Starbucks blends inspired by Milanese coffee culture

At Starbucks Reserve™ Roastery in MilanStarbucks presented on May 21 the new limited editions inspired by Milanese coffee culture, art and design. Starbucks® Milano sole And Starbucks® Milano Luna come from the same blend but are presented in two bold and contrasting ways: a light roast, Sole, and a dark roast, Luna, highlighting the duality between tradition and innovation. During the day, the Milanese artists Orticanoules The Starbucks murals were created inspired by the contrast and complementarity between Sole and Luna. The project, centered on the contrast between light and shadow, day and night, between everyday life and exclusive and suggestive nightlife, highlights the connection between Starbucks and the world of culture and creativity in the broad sense.

For Starbucks, coffee has always been a prism through which to view the world, blending tradition and innovation. Coffee and culture are closely linked and find expression in projects that involve the arts, culture and crafts of coffee itself. On launch day, in addition to offering an immersive 3D space and a special set by Grammy-winning DJ Black coffeeMilan’s Brûlerie has been transformed into a unique stage. Thanks to the murals of the Milanese artists’ collective OrticanoulesGuests inside the roastery were able to experience an immersive room – a dynamic digital installation exploring the world of roasting and the art of coffee – and a digital booth to create exclusive content for social media. This moment with Starbucks was an unmissable opportunity for me.commented Black CoffeeIt’s a brand I’ve always had a lot of respect and admiration for, and coffee + coffee makes sense! I hope this first collaboration in Milan is just the beginning of a long and limitless relationship! It was an honor to play and meet some of the team members!»
