Kodak Black Promises to Stop Playing ‘Super Gremlin’ During Sobriety Journey (Video)

Kodak Black took to social media to inform his fans of a big change in his life.

As part of his sobriety journey, he announced that he would no longer perform his 2021 hit, ““Super Gremlin.”

During a live performance, he shared: “I’m about to stop singing Super Gremlin, period. I hate that little thing. I’m sober most of the time. And I say that, like, around my homies so they know… this is serious. I could talk about it now. You feel me? Most of the time, I’m sober, bro.”

He continued: “Like Batman, I couldn’t have waited until Saturday. Now I can wait a few days… I’m proud of myself. I’m not saying I couldn’t have; it was just like some asshole was afraid to be sober.”

Kodak said in the video that he wanted to encourage others to stop taking drugs.

“It’s a motivation for niggas to think if the Gremlin could do it… You could do it.”

At a recent concert, he expressed regret over his past lyrics: “I knew the Perc was fake, but I still ate it because I’m a gremlin,” he rapped.

Still, fans are proud of him and can’t wait to see him take his sobriety seriously because the world needs more Yak.
