4 Trade Targets the 76ers Should Consider to Complete Their Roster

1. Santi Aldama gives the team more diversity in its big man rotation

Speaking of the 76ers’ big man rotation, while the signing of Andre Drummond and selection of Adem Bona are commendable, the fact that the team is designating Joel Embiid as their primary poncho should be more than enough for management to try to double down on depth behind the 2023 MVP.

A better option than Wood in this case would be Santi Aldama, who now faces a crowded frontcourt rotation in Memphis thanks to the arrival of Zach Edey and what should be a cleaner bill of health across the board for the Grizzlies.

Still young and not that expensive, the Spaniard would be a nice low-key acquisition for Philly. He’s a capable defender who’s mostly content to score points, and despite his rebounding issues, Nick Nurse would be well-served by a player like Aldama who can fit into a variety of configurations.
