Did Kai Cenat’s AMP House Catch Fire and Burn After Fireworks Debacle?

Kai Cenat’s AMP home appears to have burned down after a fire caused by fireworks, but questions are being raised about the legitimacy of the video.

During a recent livestream with YouTuber MrBeast and another friend, Davis, streamer Kai Cenat appeared with a massive stack of fireworks to celebrate the 4th of July.

About 35 minutes into the stream (according to House of Highlights on Instagram), Davis took a block of fireworks labeled “professional use only” and lit the fuse, placing it atop the massive pile of other explosives.

Seconds later, the box fell onto the other fireworks, setting them off and causing them to ignite and explode as the room filled with fire and smoke.

Following the incident, Cenat took to X (formerly Twitter) to post: “I’M DONE WITH ALL THIS SHIT!!!! I BET,” showing his frustration.

With few details about the incident, viewers were shocked that the AMP house, home to Kai Cenat and his YouTube group Any Means Possible (AMP), could have caught fire.

However, many fans are convinced that this was a fake video, thinking that the “house” was just a set created to replicate Cenat’s usual streaming room. Several X users pointed out inconsistencies between this set and Cenat’s usual location.

For comparison, below are images of Cenat’s regular room that he uses for his Twitch and YouTube streams as well as the room he used for streaming with MrBeast.

@ilyShadow circled a section of the upper wall that looked different and pointed out the differences in the door on the right side, claiming the whole thing was used “like a sketch”:

“Mr. Beast and Kai Cenat created a FAKE ROOM/SET and used it to set off fireworks as a skit”

@KmaFr_ noted that the same door was different, calling this move “next level” while claiming Cenat “I used a fake room” to make fans believe it exploded:

“Kai Cenat used a fake coin to make everyone believe his house had exploded

This is a film set like they use for movies, this guy is next level; full replica”

@lambored1032128 was convinced that the floor was hollow in the room where the fireworks were located due to the noise. They also pointed out that no normal person would be “calm, cool and collected” with someone else about to do what Davis is supposed to have done:

“It’s the hollow floor of the fireworks stream compared to the thud of the ground floor. 3. No normal human being will be calm and collected when someone is about to set fire to a room full of fireworks.”

In addition to these social media posts, another photo from @clippedszn showed what appeared to be a “leaked” image of the prop set that was used for the fireworks incident. However, it turned out to be an AI-generated image, as fans can see a chat stream hovering over the chair in the middle.

Cenat is no stranger to pranks, whether they are played on him or he is the one doing them.

He used the popular TikTok smile prank (by @streamerupdate_) on several guests, in which he suddenly flashes a weird smile to make other guests uncomfortable.

His official YouTube channel even has a video in which he pranks people by making them believe he is calling them from prison. This video has nearly 500,000 views at the time of writing.

Cenat is also at the center of other controversies due to some suspicious moments with movie star Kevin Hart during past streams.

Whether the fireworks incident was a prank remains to be seen, as his streaming room has not been seen since the fireworks allegedly exploded and set it on fire.
