Germany wants to stop Lamine Yamal’s show in Euro 2024 quarter-final blockbuster

STUTTGART, Germany (AP) — Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann is eager to show Spanish prodigy Lamine Yamal what happens when things don’t go his way. But he doesn’t want to kick him off the field. Yamal certainly burst onto the international scene at the European Championship. The super talent thrilled fans, helped Spain reach the round of 16 and earned comparisons to Lionel Messi. And all at just 16 years old. But with his youth comes inexperience, and that’s what Germany will be aiming for in Friday’s highly anticipated quarterfinal between the host nation and Spain. Nagelsmann says he “doesn’t have much experience when things don’t go his way. We’ll see how he reacts then.”
