DCU Fan Art Shows David Corenswet’s SUPERMAN Meets Robert Pattinson’s BATMAN And They Look PERFECT Together

The Batman was released in 2022 to positive reviews and a box office gross of $772 million, making it one of the most successful DC films in recent memory.

Warner Bros. wasted no time in greenlighting a sequel, while a small-screen spin-off – The Penguin – will air on Max in September. However, as The Batmanwhich will take place in Matt Reeves’ standalone “Bat-Verse” instead of the DCEU or DC Studios’ DCU.

This means that James Gunn will have to find a new Caped Crusader for The Brave and the Bolda prospect that hasn’t exactly thrilled many fans. The ideal solution would be to add Robert Pattinson’s Batman to the DCU, but it’s hard to imagine Keanu Reeves or the actor being enthusiastic about the idea.

While we don’t expect it to happen, a phenomenal piece of fan art gives us an idea of what it might look like if Pattinson’s Dark Knight crossed paths with David Corenswet’s Superman. These two are a great match and would make for an awesome take on the World’s Finest superhero duo.

Superman will add characters like Green Lantern and Hawkgirl to the DCU alongside the new Man of Steel, but it remains to be seen if we’ll get any hints about Batman’s existence.

Check out this awesome new fan art below.
