The agreement with Ucea offers employees a salary increase of between 2.5 and 5.7 percent

University pay negotiations for the 2024-25 year have concluded, the University and College Employers Association has announced, with employers offering staff an annual rise of between 2.5% and 5.7% – although the University and Colleges Union has yet to respond.

Ucea said the increase was proposed alongside a “review of the salary structure and joint work on contract types, workload and pay gaps.” Negotiations with unions began in March, and Ucea said the new offer was an increase on the 2% increase initially proposed.
