‘Turning Drake’s OGs Against Him’: Fans Shocked By DeMar DeRozan’s Intervention In Kendrick Lamar Music Video After Viral Concert Appearance

Lakers fans seem to have another reason to rejoice, but not before some of them are shocked. In fact, it wasn’t just the Los Angeles fans who were shocked. When the highly anticipated Not like us Kendrick Lamar’s music video, which was filmed in various locations around his hometown of Compton, has been released and it did not disappoint. However, what was a pleasant surprise was the appearance of one of the hottest free agents of the moment, DeMar DeRozan.

A native of Compton himself, DeRozan’s presence would make sense. But given the current NBA scenario, it seems like a divine sign that the 34-year-old would like to come back home. Yet, it’s also a shock for another reason. If you recall, Lamar’s concert in Inglewood had almost all of Los Angeles rocking to the beat of his songs.

And they also involved some of the biggest names in the NBA. Perhaps most importantly, a good number of them were very close to Canadian rapper Drake. Given that the duo’s recent songs have all been diss tracks, thanks to the highly publicized feud between the two, the appearance of LeBron James, DeMar DeRozan, and others was seen as a shift in allegiance.

Following a similar line of thought, one fan wrote: “Turning Drake’s OGs against him,” a reference, perhaps, to DeRozan’s time with the Raptors. Having one of Drake’s favorite players from his time in Toronto appear in Lamar’s music video was surely a stroke of genius.
