Meghan Markle seeks to ‘sit down’ as Prince Harry ‘ready to move on’

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s efforts to reconcile with the royal family may be in vain.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who stepped down from public duties in 2020 to spend their lives away from the royal family, are said to be facing rejection across the Atlantic.

A source told Express.co.uk: “Harry is more willing to move on, let’s just say that. It’s not that Meghan is difficult, she feels genuinely hurt and would like to sit down with them to talk things through – but it’s not something either party is prepared to consider at the moment.”

It comes as Harry and Meghan extend an olive branch to Kate Middleton after she announced her cancer diagnosis.

They shared: “We wish Kate and her family health and recovery, and hope they can do so privately and peacefully.”
