Tory Karen Bradley wins Staffordshire Moorlands – again

Tory Karen Bradley wins Staffordshire Moorlands – again

Top Tory Karen Bradley has retained her Staffordshire Moorlands seat. Ms Bradley has held the seat since 2010 and enjoyed a 16,418 majority in the 2019 general election.

It was enough to see her hold off the challenge of Labour candidate Alistair Watson. It is a double defeat for Mr Watson who failed to become Staffordshire’s police, fire and crime commissioner in May.

Ms Bradley now enjoys a 1,175 majority from Labour. That was despite Reform UK polling 10,065 votes.

The Staffordshire Moorlands 2024 General Election result:

Candidate Party Votes
Karen Bradley With 15,310
Graham Oakes LD 1,499
Dave Poole Reform UK 10,065
Helen Stead Green 2,293
