A move that left Bluey fans in shock

Fans of popular Australian cartoon Bluey have gone crazy after the creators revealed a secret episode, fearing the series could end.

The new episode, aptly titled “The Surprise,” was quietly aired by ABC Sunday morning without notice.

In order to keep the secret, the national broadcaster went so far as to hide the episode from television schedules, telling viewers that they could expect a repeat.

Shortly after, Bluey’s official page turned fans’ heads by posting several eye emojis on social media with a link to the show’s webpage.

“YOU TELLING ME I CRIED AFTER THE PANEL AND YOU RELEASE ANOTHER EPISODE?!!” wrote one fan on X.

“What the hell is this, Taylor Swift?” another asked, referring to the pop sensation’s surprise double album release on Friday.

“My friends, I screamed so loudly that my wife thought someone had died,” wrote another.

In the new episode, Bluey and her sister Bingo make their father, Bandit, play two different games at the same time.

This came just a week after the release of a 28-minute special episode, titled The Sign.

The Heeler family put their house up for sale, causing panic among parents and fans who thought the series might end.

At the end of the episode (spoiler alert), the family has not gone through with the planned move.

Bluey producer Sam Moor has stressed that the show will be returning and planted a little Easter egg for Sunday’s episode.

“That’s the question on everyone’s lips. No, this isn’t the end for Bluey. I’m sure we’ve got plenty more surprises in store for you,” she told BBC Radio 4 last week.

Bluey airs in over 60 countries. This Emmy Award-winning cartoon is the second most popular streaming series in the United States.
