J-Novel Club Announces Winners of 1st JNC Original Light Novel Contest at Anime Expo 2024

J-Roman Club announced the winners of its first JNC Original Light Novel Contest, which took place first announced at last year’s Anime Expo. Nine works were selected from 450 applications as winners of the Grand Prize, First Prize, BOOKWALKER Prize and Second Prize.

In total, one grand prize, three first prizes, four second prizes and one BOOKWALKER prize were awarded. All prizes include financial rewards and the possibility of being published further by the J-Novel Club.

The Grand Prize winning work will also be translated into Japanese and published by Kadokawa for a chance to be adapted into a manga. In addition, the BOOKWALKER Prize winning work will benefit from a special promotion and an exclusive sales window on the book’s retail website.

Additionally, free previews of the 20 finalists are available for free reading on the J-Novel Club website. website.

Another contest hosted by J-Novel Club will be announced later this year, with more details to be announced on new novel submissions.
