Kaleb Cooper Announces New Book

When Clarkson’s Farm First airing in 2021, the country quickly fell in love with Clarkson’s outspoken farming colleague Kaleb Cooper. Over the past two years, the 26-year-old has become one of the biggest stars in the farming world, and now he’s documenting his journey in a brand new book.

Title It’s a matter of agricultureKaleb Cooper’s book will offer a behind-the-scenes look at life on the Diddly Squat farm, where Cooper works alongside series lead Jeremy Clarkson.

A synopsis says the book “will share the ups, downs and unexpected adventures of life at Diddly Squat, from battling wayward tractors to dodging the wrath of grumpy cows and why he still believes he has the best job in the world.”

“Kaleb reveals his true, lovable, funny, and down-to-earth personality with deadpan gags and unique observations that will have you crying with laughter. Totally hilarious, this is Kaleb as you know and love him, telling the story of how he became one of the biggest names in agriculture today.”

In a quote from the book, Kaleb writes: “A lot of these old sayings, ‘The red sky at night…’ and so on, are based on real knowledge. It’s not that the red sky at night really means the shepherd’s delight – the only thing that can delight a shepherd is to change jobs and not have to work with sheep anymore.”

This is not Cooper’s first foray into the literary world: he has already published two books, The world according to KalebAnd Kaleb’s Britain: The Wonderful World of Country Living.

Born in Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds, Cooper worked for a time on the farm now known as Diddly Squat before it was taken over by the former Top speed host Clarkson. There have now been three seasons of Clarkson’s Farmwith a fourth in preparation.
