Fort Indiantown Gap announces training, possible increase in noise levels

FT. INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. (WHTM) — Residents near Fort Indiantown Gap may hear increased noise through July during training.

The facility has issued a public notice for two training exercises to be held later this month.

Demolition training is scheduled for July 9-12 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., while artillery training is scheduled for July 17-23 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Increased noise levels could be heard at these times in the vicinity of the facility.
