OSF St. Luke to offer $4,000 in health care scholarships – Shaw Local

OSF St. Luke’s Medical Center in Kewanee is accepting applications for 2024 Healthcare Scholarships.

This year, a total of $4,000 will be awarded to students from Bureau, Henry or Stark counties pursuing careers in the health care field.

Scholarships are available to recent high school graduates and advanced degree applicants with permanent residency in these counties. Students must be pursuing career options in the health care field, including but not limited to nursing, radiology, laboratory technology, respiratory therapy, physical or occupational therapy, and pre-med.

Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement, with high school or college transcripts, volunteer or work history, and health-related activities. They must also plan to attend a post-secondary institution to study in a health career field.

Interested students may pick up an application packet at OSF Saint Luke’s or request an electronic copy by emailing Samantha Rux at [email protected]. Completed applications must be returned to Samantha Rux by email or mailed to OSF HealthCare Saint Luke’s Medical Center, 1051 W. South St., Kewanee, IL 61443, by October 1.
