Fan-favorite chicken restaurant offering 20% ​​off meals

With the cost of living at an all-time high in Australia, eating out is a rare treat for many of us. To ease the burden and allow people to enjoy a social time with family and friends, El Jannah is offering 20% ​​off all orders up to $50 from Monday to Wednesday, for a limited time only.

Known for its simple, fresh Arabic cuisine, El Jannah was founded in 1998 by André, who was craving the food he grew up with in a small Lebanese village. Focusing on charcoal chicken, garlic sauce, flatbread and tabbouleh with fresh parsley, the restaurant became a local institution when it opened in Granville, Sydney.

André used the charcoal grill in hopes that it would remind him of cooking over a wood fire with his family in Lebanon. His traditional methods were a hit, and customers were soon lining up to sample his authentic cuisine.

Twenty-six years later, there are now 20 El Jannah restaurants across New South Wales, Victoria and the ACT.

Some of their best-selling meal combos include the Half Chicken Deluxe, $22, which includes half a legendary char-grilled chicken, regular chips sprinkled with chicken salt, a side of their famous garlic sauce, mixed pickles, fresh, warm Lebanese bread, and your choice of 375ml canned beverage.

The Tawouk skewer platter, $24, is a traditional favorite. It features two tender marinated chicken skewers, cooked over hot charcoal. It comes with regular fries, coleslaw, a medium portion of the famous garlic sauce and half a bag of soft Lebanese bread.
