KIPRUTO ARAP KIRWA says RUTO is making a big mistake by engaging Kenyans on X SPACE

Friday July 5, 2024 – Former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Kipruto Arap Kirwa has cast a chill on today’s Twitter engagement between President William Ruto and Generation Z.

Speaking on Friday, Kirwa said the engagement was a big mistake.

He added that the president must stop being at the centre of everything that is wrong in the country.

Kirwa insisted that the head of state must know that he cannot solve all the challenges facing the country.

“What I would like to advise the president is to refrain from being at the forefront of every fire. He cannot solve all of Kenya’s problems. The meeting with Generation Z is ill-advised. It is a big mistake,” he said.

The former minister, however, advised the president to find a way for the government to integrate young people into its organs.

Kirwa said that once this operation is done, the president should only intervene when summoned by state organs.

“What he should have done is to see how the different organs of government can interact with these young people and at the right time he should intervene when called upon to do so,” he said.
