“Protecting Our Vision” presentation offered at Quarry Hill, July 25

CAMDEN — The Quarry Hill Outreach Series presents “Protecting Our Vision,” an educational event led by Dr. Lynne Kaplinsky, ophthalmologist at Mid Coast Vision Care, on Thursday, July 25 at 11 a.m. at the Anderson Inn.

Vision can deteriorate with age due to genetic factors, daily activities, and environment. Learn about common types of vision loss in older adults, prevention strategies, and the latest in assistive devices and technologies.

The Quarry Hill Outreach Series is open to adults 50 and older and covers a different health-related topic each month. Light refreshments will be served.
