Starfield modder blames lack of support for Elder Scrolls project’s cancellation

Well, it’s only been a week since we highlighted it, and unfortunately… it’s been canceled. Speaking to VG247, one of the project’s modders suggested that there was a lack of community support and enthusiasm for it:

“After sharing the initial concept with the community, it became clear that the support we were hoping for simply wasn’t there. Many fans expressed concerns and indicated that they weren’t interested in seeing this project come to fruition. As a team, we were a small group of passionate modders who were excited about the possibilities. However, the feedback we received made us realize that the enthusiasm we felt wasn’t shared by the wider community.”

That’s the end of that, then! It’s a shame that the Tamriel project didn’t come to fruition in Starfield, but perhaps the team’s ambition inspired another a group of modders to build something similar in the coming years.

Either way, we’re going to see some incredible Starfield mods in the future thanks to the Creations suite, and we probably can’t even imagine some of the awesome features that will come out of it. The sky’s the limit for this one!
