Jennifer Tilly Says She Was Offered a Lead Role on ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’

Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Bravo’s Season 1 premiere isn’t expected until later this year or early 2025. While the premiere is set to be a few months away, Bravo has already stepped up its efforts. The network has announced the cast for the upcoming season, which will officially include Jennifer Tilly in the role of a friend. Jennifer Tilly recently opened up about her promotion on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills She revealed that she was too scared to become a main cast member.

Jennifer Tilly to appear on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a friend of the housewives in the first season 14. It’s exactly what the starlet wanted. Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills This will be Tilly’s first season as a friend, but it won’t be her first time appearing on the show. Jennifer Tilly can also be seen in season 13, where she appeared several times as a guest.

For Sutton Stracke, Tilly’s promotion to “friend” was a done deal a year ago. Last year, Stracke told The Wrap that she thought Tilly should be promoted to “friend” on the show. Stracke and Tilly have been close friends for a decade.

Several stars have been asked to join the cast over the years, but declined.

Tilly isn’t the only star who’s been approached to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Over the years, she is not the first star to turn down the role. Film actress Gina Gershon was once invited to join the cast. She declined the offer because she was too intimidated by the series.

Jennie Garth, best known for her role in Beverly Hills: 90210also revealed that she had been approached to join the show. She ultimately decided to turn down the job. Garth’s friend Tori Spelling has been campaigning for a spot on the reality show for years. Andy Cohen refuses to cast her.

Christina Applegate also passed up an opportunity to join the show. She admitted that it was when the show was just starting out. In her podcast, MessyApplegate mentioned that she turned down the opportunity to join the cast of RHOBH Ten years ago, she said she later became friends with the show’s executive producer. Applegate revealed that he admitted that after getting to know her, casting her in the role would have been “the most boring thing I’ve ever seen in my life.”

While Applegate’s casting may have been boring, the show wasn’t boring. Season 14 doesn’t have an official return date, but filming is underway.
