Sertoma Club Announces July 4th Raffle Winners – Grand Forks Herald

GRAND FORKS – The Sertoma Club of Grand Forks has announced the winners of its raffle, held in conjunction with the annual Fourth of July festival and fireworks event.

Jay Dunnigan won first prize, a 2024 Toyota Corolla from Rydell Toyota of Grand Forks.

Scott Walski, who won second prize, $1,000 cash from Bell Insurance.

Third prize winner Scott Olson received a $1,000 store credit from Home of Economy.

Eugene Wale won the fourth prize, a $1,000 air travel voucher, donated by Bon Voyage Travel Leaders.

Fifth prize winner Margaret Darling received a $500 gas card from Simonson’s Station stores.

Kelly Gowan won a three-month membership to Choice Health & Fitness.

William Clark received vouchers for two 18-hole rounds of golf at King’s Walk Golf Course.

Proceeds from the raffle each year are used to support the maintenance of Sertoma Park and the club’s charitable activities.

The Independence Day event marked the 66th year the Sertoma Club of Greater Grand Forks has hosted a community Fourth of July celebration, according to Paul Waind, event chairman.

In addition to the family event, which ran from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at Sertoma Park, the club also set off its largest fireworks display ever that evening near South Middle School, Waind said.
