Wande Announces Name Change to Anike

Wande recently announced that she was changing her name to Anike. In a message from her label, Reach Records, she said: “The name I have chosen to use publicly is ‘Anike’, the short form of my new full middle name, Ireoluwa-Anike, which means the goodness of God: something to be cared for and cherished, not taken for granted. This is not a marketing ploy, it is just a life of total obedience, surrender and submission to the Lord.”
