Ed Sheeran Announces Final Dates for 2025 Math Tour

“It was time to stop, but then we can press play,” Sheeran said in a social media post.

Ed Sheeran’s +-=÷x (pronounced Mathematics) tour will end in late 2025 after more than three years on the road, the singer confirmed in an announcement posted to Instagram on Friday.

Sheeran will return for further European concerts starting on 30 May 2025 at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid, Spain, before 12 more stops across Europe, including concerts in Rome, Oslo and Copenhagen. His final concert will be at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf, Germany, on 9 September. Tickets will go on sale on 10 July on Sheeran’s website. The singer has indicated that he will announce further dates at a later date, but has not given any details beyond the European concerts at the time of going to press.

Tendency

“We’re going to hit most of the other places we haven’t been to yet, but the first dates to go on sale will be in the rest of Europe, more to come, but the European dates will go on sale July 10th (Rome July 12th), see you next year,” Sheeran wrote on social media. “It was time to call it a day, but then we can press play…”

The singer-songwriter kicked off his Mathematics Tour in April 2022 in Dublin and played across much of Europe, Australia and New Zealand before heading to much of the United States from April to October 2023. According to the trade publication PollstarThe Mathematics Tour was the seventh highest-grossing tour of 2023, grossing over $268 million from 54 shows. Sheeran’s previous Divide Tour was at one point the highest-grossing concert tour of all time, but has since been eclipsed by tours by Taylor Swift, Elton John, and Coldplay.
