CM Punk Says He Feels ‘Ready’ For His WWE In-Ring Return

CM Punk Says He Feels ‘Ready’ For His WWE In-Ring Return

CM Punk has been out of action since WrestleMania 40 due to a triceps injury. He recently made his return to television, which disrupted Drew McIntyre’s championship ambitions, but he has yet to be medically cleared to wrestle. However, he appears ready to return.

At the press conference following Money in the Bank, CM Punk discussed his potential return to the ring. When asked what he thought about his return, Punk was candid.

Punk admitted he feels good and is eager to return, but stressed that medical clearance involves extensive procedures to ensure his readiness.

“I feel good and I’m ready to go, but there are things in place to protect me from myself.”

Although he was not completely cleared, Punk did get in on the action at Money in the Bank, attacking Drew McIntyre. Although Punk suffered no damage during the incident, his involvement suggests that he is close to being ready for a full in-ring return.

A match between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk seems inevitable, given Punk’s repeated interference in McIntyre’s title quest.
