Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s Sangeet: Shloka Mehta dazzles in a custom peach lehenga inspired by ‘Bole Chudiyan’

Shloka Mehta dazzled in three standout outfits at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s Sangeet ceremony, each meticulously styled by her sister Diya Mehta Jatia. The internet was particularly captivated by one ensemble: a peach-hued lehenga reminiscent of Kareena Kapoor’s iconic Bole Chudiyan look from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

Shloka and Diya dug into Manish Malhotra’s archives to get inspiration for Kareena Kapoor’s famous outfit, tailoring a lehenga for the Ambani family’s eldest daughter-in-law. Diya shared pictures of Shloka’s stunning look on Instagram, captioning it: “PHAT look! We wanted something fun, elegant and iconic for the sangeet. After much discussion, we decided to recreate the original look from @manishmalhotra05 Bole Chudiyan. It was an absolute blast.”

The custom designed peach lehenga set features a short blouse with a jeweled asymmetrical neckline, backless design, intricate Resham and sequin embroidery and butterfly embellished tassels at the hemline.

Shloka paired the blouse with a matching lehenga skirt, showcasing an A-line silhouette, Resham floral embroidery, peach sequin embellishments and a floor-length hemline. A matching embroidered dupatta with tassels and Resham detailing completed the ensemble.

To accessorise her look, Shloka wore lavish jewellery including a diamond necklace, drop earrings, statement bracelets and rings. Her makeup included black eyeliner, kohl-rimmed eyes, mascara, berry lips and a touch of rouge on her cheeks, all complemented by a sleek ponytail.
