Manchester United target sends clear message to Erik ten Hag as Matthijs de Ligt talks continue

Gleison Bremer, the 27-year-old Brazilian defender currently playing for Juventus, has expressed his satisfaction with Manchester United’s interest in him. However, he assured that he is happy with his presence at Juventus.

Bremer joined Juventus from local rivals Torino two years ago in a £42million transfer. Despite Juventus’ financial difficulties, which have led to speculation over a possible sale of the highly-rated defender, Bremer remains committed to his current side.

Manchester United are reportedly looking for at least one centre-back before the summer transfer window closes. They are currently in talks to bring in Matthijs de Ligt from Bayern Munich and have already made an unsuccessful bid for Everton young star Jarrad Branthwaite.

If Manchester United decide to change tack, they could be looking to lure the two-time Serie A Defender of the Year back. Speaking ahead of Brazil’s Copa America exit to Uruguay on Saturday, as reported by the Mirror, Bremer said: “I’m flattered by the interest from some big clubs, but I’m already at a big team like Juventus.”

“I am very focused on the Copa America. I have many goals. I want to play one or two World Cups and I want to continue fighting for important titles in Europe.”

Bremer also expressed his excitement at the prospect of working under new Juve coach Thiago Motta, who is known for his progressive, attacking style of play. Motta has already guided Bologna to the Champions League and impressed at Spezia.
