Former WWE Star Sends Message to NXT Ahead of Heatwave

Donovan Dijak sent a message to NXT talent and staff ahead of Sunday’s (July 7) NXT Heatwave premium live event.

NXT will take over the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada, just one day after the main roster’s Money in the Bank premium live event.

Ahead of the competition between NXT’s top stars, former WWE star Donovan Dijak took to Twitter to congratulate everyone who worked on Sunday’s show.

Excited about NXT, Dijak tweeted:

I’m so excited for everyone at NXT today! An incredible group of hard-working talent and staff.

When a Twitter user asked who Dijak liked working with in WWE, Dijak responded:

Honestly, all of them, and that includes the core team as well. All the talent, regardless of their level, has been great to be around.

Dijak has competed in two editions of NXT, first joining the developmental brand during its Black & Gold era in 2017.

He returned to NXT in 2022 after his stint with Retribution, where he competed until his call-up to the main roster earlier this year in May.

Dijak did not make an appearance on Raw following the WWE Draft, with the popular star ultimately leaving WWE in late June after WWE did not renew his contract.
